A terrific win against a tough opposition on Sunday at Blacktown.
 
After a disappointing start in which Campbelltowns midfield was well on top, we had managed to pull back the lead and go in at half time with a small lead.
 
It was a tough second half and was a credit to the ongoing improvement of the team that they fought on and only in the last ten minutes were we able to break clear.
 
Our midfield led by Tim Schmidt and Nick Todd was terrific after quarter time and our defenders and forwards all played an excellent four quarters. It's great to see the players bounce back and play a disciplined game after a lacklustre performance last week.
 
It was great to sing the song again.

A disappointing result after a couple of good weeks. After another solid start we gave away four goals from 50 meter penalties which handed Uni a lead. Against the top sides we can't afford to make mistakes like we did and we went in at half time six goals down.

 
The Students showed their fitness and structure in the second half and were far too good. Bates and Farrell were outstanding again and Colin Brown was solid in his first game back for a month.
 
A tough month coming up for the team which will once again test our resolve as a club, but the attitude of the players is fantastic and will no doubt help us to continue to improve.
