Balmain Dockers home ground is Drummoyne Oval. Situated on Bayswater Rd in Drummoyne, Drummoyne Oval was built in 1931 and currently hosts AFL and Rugby in winter and Cricket in summer. Facilities include a new players pavilion, a small grandstand, and a hill which surrounds half the ground. On the other side of the ground, there is a wonderful view of the Parramatta River and surrounding area. The first ever first-class cricket match was played at the ground on February 2, 2003 when NSW took on Tasmania in the ING Cup attracting a sell-out crowd of almost 5,000. |
